At Village Therapy, we offer online therapy (sometimes called telehealth) to complement our face to face services. We particularly use online therapy when our clients cannot attend our clinic.
Online therapy is a great way to continue a client's progress when they are unable to attend our clinic. Online therapy has been demonstrated to be an effective way to deliver Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy, and has been used in therapeutic environments for more than a decade.
Our clinicians have been trained to deliver online therapy, and our administrative systems are in place to support it too - just like with face to face sessions.
Our clients who access the NDIS will find that their plans cover online therapy. For clients who use Medicare and private health insurance, you will need to pay for therapy sessions yourself as currently you are not able to claim rebates for Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy delivered using online therapy.
